If you have a painful wrist or increased "play" in the wrist or a trapped nerve (carpal tunnel syndrome).
Indications
Instability of the carpal bones resulting in increased latitude in the wrist.
Unspecific pain in the wrist.
irritated tendon shealth (which can cause carpel tunnel syndrome)
PSB Wrist braces are available in three sizes: Small, Medium and Large and are different for the right and the left wrist. In order to measure the correct size, you need to measure around the wrist between the hand and the wrist bones. you can use a normal tape measure for measuring or a special PSB tape measure, which shows the sizes in three different colours. The table shows the fitting range of the various sizes. If a wrist measurment falls exactly between two sizes, it is advisable to try the smaller size first. a closer fit improves the support function.
Unsuitable for :
No conditions are known which preclude wearing an arm brace. Pain should always be seen as a warning. In case of continuing pain or other symptoms for which there is no clear cause, you should always consult your GP, physiotherapist or sport therapist. The PSB Wrist Brace is available in three sizes (see table on reverse) in left and right versions.
To determine the correct size you need to measure around the wrist, between your hand and the wrist bones (see illustration). Fit the brace and ensure it feels comfortable.
Easy fit
The PSB Wrist Brace is easy to care for and can be washed at up to 40 degrees C in the washing machine. Higher temperatures should be avoided, as they will damage the elastic materials. Use the supplied washing net and fasten all Velcro fasteners before washing.
Allow your PSB sport brace to dry naturally, i.e. not in the tumble dryer or on a radiator. You will extend the life of your brace if you allow it to dry after use. Never keep it stored in your sports bag.
Correct Use
Check that you have chosen the right size wrist brace. If you feel pressure on your wrist bones, you could need a smaller size. Before use, check whether your sport brace shows any signs of damage or wear, which will reduce pressure and efficiency.
